Is Your State Rep Pushing a DSA Agenda?

DSA is the Democratic Socialists of America. It is the largest socialist organization in the United States. It publishes a political program demanding a mandated minimum wage, universal healthcare, union power, public education without school choice, a Green New Deal, wealth taxes, and the abolition of ICE. We took 11 planks straight from that program, found the 41 New Hampshire roll calls that match them, and scored every sitting legislator.

House Democrats voted with the DSA position 99.1% of the time. Senate Democrats, 100%. 166 of 406 legislators scored at 80% or higher, and every one of them is a Democrat. Look up yours.

In their own materials

The scores on this site measure votes. This is something different: promotional material published by the Southern New Hampshire chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, reproduced as they published it.

“100 Años con Fidel”

Published by Southern New Hampshire DSA to mark the centenary of Fidel Castro’s birth, under the words “Let Cuba Live! ¡Viva la Revolución!”

Castro ruled Cuba as a one-party state for nearly half a century, jailing political opponents and independent journalists and abolishing free elections.

An endorsed candidate, and a canvass

Southern New Hampshire DSA does not only publish a platform. It endorses candidates for New Hampshire office and turns out volunteers to knock doors for them. This flyer advertises a meet and greet in Manchester for its endorsed candidate Heather Deiner, followed by a canvass.

Deiner is a candidate, not a sitting member, so she has no voting record and does not appear in the scorecard. This site scores the 406 sitting legislators only.

Both graphics are reproduced as Southern New Hampshire DSA published them. Neither was written, summarised or edited by Granite Solutions.
